CLINICAL SUPERVISION
Choosing a clinical supervisor is one of the most important decisions you will make. That person will inform your ethics and how you practice social work. Ideally, your supervisor will not only protect your clients, but also enhance your skillset, broaden your knowledge of interventions and theories, and expand your perspective when it comes to conceptualizing cases and how you view your clients.
Having been in the field for over 25 years, it has been crucial to stay current on best practice and evidenced-based techniques. My career has taken me to psychiatric hospitals, hospital ERs, outpatient clinics, community mental health, long-term care, sub-acute rehab, adolescent residential facilities, foster care, group homes, supportive housing and adult day programs.
Along with my clinical background is my administrative background as Chief Operating Officer of a large mental health agency. I believe it is important to have a basic understanding of business and funding to be a good social worker today (especially if you are looking to move ahead).

I offer Clinical Supervision in NJ for LCSW candidates. We will meet remotely via a HIPAA-compliant, easy-to-use video platform for your Clinical Supervision hours.
*PLEASE NOTE: I do not provide clients for you to work with - I work with individuals who are already engaged in clinical work in settings that provide clinical services but lack a qualified clinical supervisor as required per regulations.
